WORLDWIDE UNITY AT THE 2025 FGBMFI 73RD WORLD CONVENTION IN MIAMI!
THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT ARE FLOWING, RECEIVE THEM!
Demos Shakarian said the primary purpose of every FGBMFI World Convention was to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit that would speak of what is coming and give us the guidance desired for the purpose of the Spirit for the Fellowship.
That word of wisdom from brother Demos was the story of the overwhelming messages and move of the Holy Spirit at the 2025 World Convention just completed in Miami, Florida, as the Holy Spirit was present and led the Convention from the opening moments to the magnificent closing night.
Leaders from more than 50 nations and more than 1700 men and women came together in Miami, united beyond borders, cultures, and languages. And our leaders and members representing America were a prominent part of the Fellowship unity, testimonies, and ministering that occurred.
From special speakers to Fellowship officers the message that began in Honduras last year came across loud and clear and International President Francis Owusu spoke it opening night and closing night: The Greatest Harvest is almost upon us; prepare our chapters; the Lord has armed ALL of us with Gifts of the Spirit to receive the harvest!
Anointed music and speakers from continents of the world shared messages and testimonies, always followed by healing, words of knowledge, prophecy, and more, which confirmed the message from the Spirit – ALL the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are available for the laymen and women of the Fellowship to receive and use to realize the full power of the Holy Spirit in these days.
Beyond race, nationality, or social status, all stood united, because the Lord promised:
“In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” (Joel 2:28) This convention was more than an event — it was a prophetic sign that the nations are walking together as ONE..
The Convention presented each region of the world during the day sessions, from Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin and South America, Asia, North America and the Caribbean.
Each region featured native costume, music worship, and testimonies by men and women from each region speaking to the world what the Lord was doing in their region and what exciting testimonies we heard! Many amazing miracles were shared: from Christians escaping terrorists, to children being rescued, to magnificent healings an how the Spirit was vibrant and active in the Fellowship across the world as our protection.
The North American and Caribbean session was hosted by America President Gabriel Jacquez and the International Vice President for North America and the Caribbean, American Tim King. And the world heard Regional Directors Sergio Oseguero, Fredy Espana, and Doug Wooley share the move of the Spirit to start chapters in those regions. Tim King shared of new chapters in Canada, the first in many years, and the movement in the Caribbean. (Doug Wooley is also International Secretary and was the anointed emcee for the final meeting.)
The Convention actually began on Monday, August 11th, as Fire Team Coordinator Sergio Oseguera led a team from ten nations to the streets of Miami – sharing Jesus, converting many, and inviting people to the World Convention. This is the Vision – reaching people wherever they are – and the Fire Team was spectacular in salvations and ushering in the Holy Spirit!
On Wednesday, August 13, the Ladies of the Fellowship (LoTF), led by our International Coordinator Mrs. Jennifer Owusu, came together for a special time of fellowship at South Beach, Miami. This was a divine moment where women of the nations and regions shared in unity, joy, and the love of God. The laughter, the prayers, and the conversations reflected the beauty of what it means to be one family in Christ — beyond borders, cultures, and language. The gentle shower of the Holy Spirit fell upon them as a prelude to the storm of the Spirit about to happen at the full Convention.

On Thursday, August 14, the Convention officially opened, and all were greeted by dear George Segersbol, our American Executive Vice President, who had worked long and hard, aided by Jose Sikaffy, to organize the Convention. This first day was a powerful session that set the tone for the days ahead. Delegates from across the world stood united in worship and prayer. The opening comments by George reaffirmed the vision: “The Vision is People. The Vision is Global.”
Day 1’s featured evening speaker was Robyn Rodger, an anointed prophet from South Africa, who told the dramatic story of how her father had become a Christian and how his conversion led to her seeking words of prophecy that have touched people’s lives across the world. Sister Rodgers shared words for many convention attendees who came forward for prayer, touching their lives as tears flowed and answers were given to guide their hearts.
But the strongest and most powerful message of the night was President Francis Owusu exhorting us all to follow the Vision and lead people to Jesus; it was the Vision, it is our Mission. Francis said to put aside personal desires and reach the people the Lord has placed in our path. Many recommitted themselves to those words of Vision.
Day 2 was a day of testimonies, worship, and strategy sessions. It featured inspiring testimonies of transformed lives and businesses, highlighting the Gospel’s impact in the marketplace. Strategy sessions emphasized strengthening chapters worldwide, promoting excellence in leadership, and fulfilling the Vision of the Fellowship to reach people beyond church walls. The worship and strategizing of nations brought unity and a great renewal to the Vision, creating excitement for members to bring the same Spirit back to their countries.
The featured speaker that night was Guillermo Maldonado, who moved across the stage and auditorium as he spoke an anointed message of hope. He ministered powerfully in the Gifts of the Spirit and called all men and women who pray for others to use those Gifts. Signs and miracles were amazing – his calling forth of a woman who he said had attempted to commit suicide three times was a stunning moment and a confirmation of the message of the Holy Spirit: the Gifts of the Spirit are for all to minister to the body!
On Day 3, the final day, the American members met for a luncheon, where Treasurer Edgar Fonseca spoke of the growth of chapters and income, and how his work was to provide the USA with better organization to keep track of member and chapter growth. Pray for Edgar’s task; it is one with great fruit for the FGBMFI-USA.
There was also a visit from Michael Nolan, president of Bill Glass Behind the Walls Prison Ministry, which has joined with FGBMFI-USA in reaching so many in prisons across America. Behind the Walls sets up visits to prisons large and small, where men meet face-to-face with those whose hope is lost, sharing Jesus in prison yards and cells. That evening, a most powerful message of the Spirit was set in motion with the anointed, gentle testimony of American Roger Ringuette, Secretary of the USA Board. His testimony touched the hearts of many with the anointing of the Spirit. He spoke just before the main speaker that night at the Convention, sharing how he had found Jesus, and tears of joy fell across the auditorium.
President Francis Owusu then rose and spoke a rousing vision that commissioned each of us into service with renewed passion for saving souls in our chapters and on the streets, as the Great Commission given to the Fellowship: to be the Arm of God in these final days. The audience rose in joy and blessing as the Spirit fell upon all with that commission from Francis – praises to the Lord, cheers for Jesus, arms raised and waving, and the Spirit washed over the packed audience with a magnificent impartation of Love from Christ to the Fellowship!
The words of Demos rang true – the Holy Spirit has spoken, and the message and the power were confirmed by President Francis Owusu: Go, reach the lost, the Great Harvest is upon us. We have the Gifts of the Spirit, every one of us. Use them. Reach the lost! Hallelujah!
If you feel alone, look at the powerhouse the Lord has put together: more than an army, a great family with a great Vision to do great things in these times. He has given us Gifts beyond measure, Gifts that cannot be defeated. We take the world for our dear Jesus!
One body. One vision. One mission. Our president, Gabriel Jacquez, said we must be committed to those words of unity and work together. Unity, Gabriel said, was evident at this World Convention as more than 300 from the USA attended. “Seek the Lord,” Gabe spoke, “for how to go forward together. The Scriptures tell us: one puts a thousand to flight, two put ten thousand. See the power of the FGBMFI-USA working together as one body under the Spirit. How pleasant it is when men dwell together in unity.” The enemy trembles, Gabe imparted. Receive the Great Harvest shown at this 2025 World Convention. Hallelujah!
